Privacy

This translation is provided for convenience; in case of any difference, the Romanian version prevails.

At Jade Dynasty, the privacy of your data is a priority. This policy explains what information we collect, why we use it and what rights you have over it, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR).

1. Data we collect

  • Account information: your username, email address and password (stored encrypted as a hash, which the team cannot read).
  • Game data: characters, level, items, login history and other information generated while playing.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser type and sign-in history, used to prevent fraud and attacks.
  • Payment data: for donations, the data needed for the transaction is collected directly by the payment processor. Jade Dynasty does not store your card details on its own servers.
  • Support messages: the content of the tickets you open.

2. Why we use the data

  • Creating and managing your game account (providing the service you asked for).
  • Account security and password recovery.
  • Preventing the use of forbidden programs and keeping the game fair (legitimate interest).
  • Processing donations and meeting our legal obligations.
  • Communicating important news about the server.

3. Data protection

  • Passwords are encrypted with hashing algorithms.
  • All connections to the website use an SSL certificate (HTTPS).
  • Access to the database is restricted to authorised administrators only.

4. Sharing of data

Jade Dynasty does not sell or rent your personal data. It may only be shared with:

  • payment processors (for example Stripe or PayPal), to complete donations;
  • Google, for the "I'm not a robot" check (reCAPTCHA) and for anonymous traffic statistics (Google Analytics);
  • the authorities, only following an official request, as required by law.

5. How long we keep the data

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. After the account is deleted, the data is removed, except for what the law requires us to keep (for example payment records) or what is needed to enforce an ongoing sanction.

6. Your rights

  • Right of access: you can see your account data at any time in the "My account" section.
  • Right to rectification: you can change your email or password directly on the website.
  • Right to erasure: you can request the permanent deletion of your account from "My account" or through a support ticket.
  • The right to object and to restriction, as well as the right to lodge a complaint with the Romanian National Supervisory Authority for Personal Data Processing (ANSPDCP).

7. Cookies

Necessary (always active): the sign-in session, your chosen language, your cookie choice and Google reCAPTCHA, which protects the sign-in forms against bots.

Statistics (only with your consent): Google Analytics, for anonymous traffic statistics. It loads only after you press "Accept all" in the cookie window. If you choose "Necessary only", it does not load at all.

You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer. Cookies can also be deleted or blocked from your browser settings, but signing in does not work without the session cookie.

For any request regarding your data you can contact us on Discord or through the Support section. We reply within 30 days at most.
